EnrolMents

The Inglewood High School Board of Trustees have adopted an enrolment scheme. The enrolment procedure are effective as of Friday 23rd August 2024.

The enrolment scheme will come into effect on January 1 2025.

The school is limited in the number of places it is able to offer out-of-zone students at each level.

Home Zone (In Zone) Enrolments

All students who live within the Inglewood High School Home Zone are entitled to enrol at the school. Proof of residence within the home zone is required. The interactive map below shows the zone in yellow and roads in red. Alternatively you can access a Zone Description and static Map – updated 23/08/2024

Out of Zone enrolments

Applications for enrolment will be processed in the following order of priority:

1 Special needs (not applicable as we do not operate an MOE approved programme)

2 Siblings of current students

3 Siblings of former students

4 Children of former students

5 Children of BOT employees and Board members

6 All other applicants

If there are more applicants in the second, third, fourth, fifth or sixth priority groups than there are places available, selection within the priority group will be by a ballot conducted in accordance with instructions issued by the Secretary under Schedule 20 of the Education and Training Act 2020. Parents will be informed of the date of any ballot by notice in a daily newspaper circulating in the area served by the school.

Applicants seeking second, third or fourth priority status may be required to give proof of a sibling relationship.

Currently the Home Zone is proposed only. It will be finalised at the beginning of Term 3, 2024 after consultation with affected schools.
